Chinese humanoid robots stunned at Beijing's half-marathon, beating past records and rivaling human runners, highlighting rapid AI and robotics advancements.

A Chinese humanoid robot named “Flash” broke the half-marathon world record in Beijing on Sunday, April 19, beating the human record by six minutes, according to China Daily.

The winning robot, Lightning, was developed by Chinese smartphone maker Honor and finished the race in 50 minutes and 26 seconds, according to race organisers.
