Protests in India demanding the removal of the chief election commissioner for alleged voter fraud have intensified.

Two teachers have been shot during student protests that erupted in France on Monday morning. The raucous demonstrations by opposition groups on Monday followed days of an effective lockdown and mass detentions of young protesters by security forces.

No Kings protests will return in towns and cities across America on Oct. 17, with 12 scheduled around the mid-Hudson Valley, according to organizers. Nineteen No Kings rallies were held in the region during the last nationwide demonstration on March 28.
